Under 19 League: Shamrock Rovers 5-2 Cork City

Cork City’s eleven game unbeaten run at Under 19 level was ended on Sunday, as they went down by five goals to two against Shamrock Rovers at Sacred Heart FC in Tallaght. John Kavanagh and Danny Morrissey were both on target for City, who had Stephen Carroll and David Browne sent off. City still lead the table by six points, and face Salthill Devon in Drom next weekend.
