It currently receives no core funding and is reliant on volunteers to run the station.
Commenting on the partnership, Cork city Chairman John O’Sullivan said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Cork Community TV. Like us, they are a membership based organisation and place a lot of emphasis on volunteerism. Reading through their objectives highlights how much we have in common. I believe that working together can assist the growth of both Cork City FC and CCTv.”
Audrey O’Mahony, speaking on behalf of the Board of Management of CCTv, said: “As a community-based organisation, we are very much looking forward to working with Cork City. We share many core values and hope that this partnership can prosper.”
